Study Focus: FIELDS AND MEADOWS Ecosystems
The Lancaster County Junior Envirothon is an environmental knowledge challenge designed for students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. Teams are led by teacher advisors. Students participate by school in grade level teams of 5 students to demonstrate their understanding of four learning topics including trees, mammals, birds, and an ecology focus group. The Jr Envirothon program is meant to enhance and reinforce the state Science and Technology Environment and Ecology standards.
